　　(ii) Reasons for conveyor belt cracking

　　1. Due to the limitation of space size, the conveyor belt has more bending times;

　　2, when the joint vulcanization due to a variety of reasons for more than twice vulcanization.

　　(3) The reason of vulcanization joint tearing

　　1. The diameter of the reversing drum is small, and the bending stress of the conveyor belt is large;

　　2. Poor quality of the vulcanized joints, especially those that have been vulcanized for more than two times, the strength of the joints significantly decreases, or the canvas 3 and 3 layers are cut off or polished and leaked during adhesive bonding, where the strength decreases;

　　4. For the reversible conveyor, as it can only be overlapped in one direction, it is easy to be scratched by the sharp corners of the belt sweeper and unloader;

　　5, conveyor work cycle is short, start frequently, instantaneous tension is large.

　　(4) The cause of damage to the covering surface

　　1, the gap between the guide groove liner and the tape is not appropriate, causing abnormal wear, or foreign body embedded in the gap, causing abnormal wear or scratch.

　　2. The material flow rate at the feeding trough is inconsistent with the conveyor belt speed, and the drop difference is large, thus accelerating the wear of the rubber surface.

　　3. The idler is damaged, causing abnormal wear or scratch of the belt.

　　4, illegal operations, welding slag scald during maintenance.

　　5. Scratch the sweeper.

　　6. If the tape slips, abnormal wear of the tape will be caused.
